MONTJET KID | Levocetrizine Hydrochloride 2.5 mg + Montelukast Sodium 4 mg suspension by Zoic Lifesciences is a very effective medicine for children. And it is mainly prescribed in allergy conditions such as a runny nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, congestion, and watery eyes. This medication is administered on a fixed time interval with water; it can be consumed before or after food. 

The composition of the medication includes 

Levocetrizine Hydrochloride 2.5 mg 

Montelukast Sodium 4 mg 

It is also effective in the treatment of skin conditions such as inflammation and itching. It reduces the harsh effects of chemicals in the body that cause inflammation of the skin.

Mechanism of Action 

MONTJET KID | Levocetrizine Hydrochloride 2.5 mg + Montelukast Sodium 4 mg suspension is made from Levocetrizine Hydrochloride and Montelukast Sodium to give kids complete relief from the signs and symptoms of allergic reaction. 

Levocetirizine in Montjet Kid tablet works as an anti-allergic drug that works by blocking histamine, which is responsible for allergic reactions like a runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. 

Montelukast in the Montjet Kid tablet works as a leukotriene antagonist; it blocks leukotriene and helps in reducing the inflammation in the airways/aerosol, and nose.

Dosages and Administration 

It is medication for children, so it is very necessary to take this medication after a proper consultation with the doctor: 

• The recommended dose of the Montjet Kid Tablet |  Levocetrizine Hydrochloride 2.5 mg + Montelukast Sodium 4 mg suspension tablet is one tablet per day.
• It can be taken with or without food 
• It can be chewed or dispersed in water.
